Managing Scientific Director

The Company’s Managing Scientific Director (“MSD”) is a molecular biologist with a background in transdermal drug delivery. In his capacity as MSD, he regularly sources and develops new products, ensuring their scientific and technical rigor.

The MSD’s scientific career has focused on the molecular biology of disease, especially Alzheimer’s disease and cancer. He holds two patents and has published several papers in peer-review journals.

Prior to joining the Company, he served as Chief Scientific Officer for a company developing novel transdermal therapies. As a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, the MSD conducted research within the department of Neurology, studying various roles of beta amyloid in normal biological processes and Alzheimer’s disease. He has also been a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Scripps Research Institute, Adjunct Faculty at Florida Atlantic University Honors College, and a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Torrey Pines Institute for Molecular Studies.

The MSD received his Ph.D. in molecular biology, with an emphasis in neuroscience, from the University of Southern Florida College of Medicine. He holds a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from Eckerd College.
